Design and Technology – Practical Wood Work
This course will give you a broad introduction to practical woodworking skills. You will have the opportunity to work with a range of materials and learn the correct use of tools and equipment while learning new processes and techniques. You will be able to read and interpret drawings and work safely in a workshop-based setting.
The skills you learn in this course will help you move into career areas such as carpentry, construction, design and engineering.
